This is a very simple game which is an add-on for the Firefox browser. The game has a suggested $1.99 donation, but you can download it for free (if not guilt free).

What the game does is brilliantly simple, it turns a website into a shoot-em-up arcade game. You get the chance to destroy the web-page, just like when you were a kid dropping quarters into the arcade games.

So, do you have a competitor that is keeping you up at night? Then BLAST ‘EM.

Did you team loose last night? Then BLAST their team website or the news article.

Is your Ex on Facebook, then BLAST ‘EM.

Loads of fun, so check it out and click on the picture above to see it for yourself.

Note: You will need to have Firefox installed to play.

It is Tarantino’s post-modern mix of film noir, dark humor and what has now become pop-culture icons.

The story is about a over this hill boxer named Butch (played by Bruce Willis) who decides to cheat a local mob boss who wants him to throw a fight. Because of this, Vincent and Jules (two career killers played by John Travolta and Samuel Jackson) hunt him down.

The movie unfolds through several almost mini-movies that intersect with each other, in a method that has you seeing some characters enter after you have already seen them die.

For me, this is the perfect DVD to keep in my car. Since it is essentially several smaller movies inside of a 154 minute movie, it is great popping in whenever I want to kill a little time over a lunch break downtown.

One of my favorite scenes is when Christopher Walken’s character delivers a war momento to Bruce Willis’ character (as a child) from his deceased father. Touching and disturbing all at once…

That is, unless of course you have already seen 8 Mile.

Eminem plays the role he was born to play (pretty much because it is a version of his life story).

If you are not a fan of rap music, then you probably aren’t going to be a fan of this movie. But the story is an inspirational one. If you are taking on challenges in your life and you feel as though you are not strong enough to succeed, then check this one out.

If you haven’t had the chance to check it out FX, then prepare yourself. It is just a load of fun. If you like Seinfeld, but thought the characters needed to be just a little bit more dysfunctional and self serving, then Sunny is just what the doctor ordered.

She has been using the laptop equivalent of Ford Pinto for the last few years. It is an old piece of (explitive removed) that is a hand me down of a hand me down.

This computer has, for as long as we have had it, had a problem with the letter “n” on the keyboard. It tends to fall off. This is not a big deal if all you do is get online occassionally to pay a bill or check out the internet.

However, if you are working late at home an a project with a deadline, that “n” just became much more important.

So, we decided to find the perfect computer for her… and I think we succeeded. The good folks at HP have developed a computer that is compact, light and packed full of features. Did I mention that its cute too?

The major selling point (outside of it’s real features) is that you can get it in this pink plaid design. It has everything she needs and is something she is excited about getting too. A real win-win.

The only problem I see is that it really doesn’t seem practical for me to borrow this when I go meet with clients. Wait, I think she would say that it another win for her, too.

If you are a car guy or gal and you own a PS3, then you owe it to yourself to check this one out.

The realism on this one is far beyond anything I have ever seen. I own (in the real world) a Dodge Challenger R/T, so I KNOW the feel of how it drive, how it sounds and what it looks like inside the car.

This game has NAILED DOWN all of those. The engine sounds just like mine, the details they have on the inside of the car are just ridiculous. It is SPOT ON! Best of all, it really handles just the same.

If they have built this car to be a virtual match, then you can rest assured that they have done the same with all the other cars. That is the real reason why it takes them forever to release a new version of the game. Boy, is it worth the wait.

See what I mean:

Ever since this was recommended to my by my Biostatistics professor (I know, that is an odd person to get a funny movie recommendation) I have fallen for it’s special type of dark humor.

It is responsible for some great quotes:

“At least I’m housebroken”

“You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don’t wanna know about it, belive me.”

“That rug really tied the room together”

Since the Big Lebowski, I have watched Jeff Bridges in just about every movie he has put out. I love the guy as an actor, but I have to admit he is always going to be “The Dude” to me. That was, until he took on the role of Rooster Cogburn.

This was the perfect role, not for Mr. Bridges, but rather for the guy who played the Dude. In so many ways, these two characters are the same. Both have checked out of mainstream society and checked into a bottle of booze. Both have a different outlook on life which is all their own, but down deep are genuine and good men.

I was disapponted to see that it didn’t get more recognition at the academy awards, but I think I will download my first chance on Netflix and watch it with a White Russion in hand.

The Dude abides!

You see, when the King’s Speech came out last year I had zero interest in seeing it. Maybe I am just not cultured enough to have seen the potential in the move, based on the trailers. Maybe I have seen far too many dry films that have the same feel as this.

Regardless, now that my friends and family are all raving about the movie and it received best picture, best actor and best director I fear that you will see me in line this weekend to see this movie.

But, I have a secret and I am only going to share it with you. So I don’t look like a “Johnny Come Lately”, I’m just going to let everyone think that I am seeing for the second time because of how great it was… You know, I always did like that movie and I am glad that the academy finally recognized what I knew all along.
